Overnight Newborn Care

Long gone are the nights of sleep deprivation! Sleep is essential for the well-being of both parents and infants, yet it often becomes elusive with a newborn at home. Overnight newborn care (my most popular service!) allows you to get the rest you deserve so that you can focus on enjoying your new bundle(s) of joy.

With almost a decade of experience, I have a range of skills and expertise to provide exceptional care tailored to your baby’s unique needs and your family’s preferences. I ensure your baby is well-fed, comfortable, cared for, and all of their needs are met, allowing you to rest and recharge. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to caring for a newborn, and I’ll work closely with you to ensure your baby is cared for in a way that aligns with your family’s preferences and comfort level.

MY OVERNIGHT SUPPORT INCLUDES:

  • Complete care of your baby throughout the night - all feedings, burping, diaper changes, soothing and re-settling

  • If nursing, bringing baby to you for night feeds and helping you get comfortable for nursing sessions

  • Establishing healthy sleep patterns to get baby (and you!) sleeping better

  • Initiating a daytime schedule and nighttime routine

  • All baby-related duties including organization & maintenance of the nursery, baby's laundry, and washing/sterilizing bottles, pump parts & pacifiers.

  • Troubleshooting and navigating challenges such as feeding/latch issues, bottle aversion, GERD, reflux and silent reflux, breastfeeding/supply trouble, skin conditions, allergies, postpartum mood conditions, slow weight gain, and any issue or concern that may arise.

    Rates begin at $35/hr.

  • 3-7 nights per week

    10-hour or 12-hour shifts

    4 - 16 weeks of support

    Shift options:

    8pm - 6am

    9pm - 7am

    7pm - 7am

    If you don't see a shift option that works for you, please contact me to see if I can accommodate your request. Please be advised that overnight care requires a 10-hour minimum shift, adjustments can be made to 8-hour shifts (10pm - 6am) if desired.
